We are happy to introduce the new Phoenicia Deli and Phoenicia Coffee House in our new and improved‚ modern home at 12151 Westheimer. Our original Mediterranean restaurant was founded in 1983 by Arpi and Zohrab Tcholakian‚ Lebanese immigrants of Armenian descent. Over the years‚ our loyal customers have traveled from near and far to enjoy our trademark shawarma sandwiches. Our customers swear by them and claim they are better than any other they have had around the globe! What makes Phoenicia’s shawarma gourmet-goodness is our fine cuts of meat slow cooked on a rotisserie spit‚ marinated with Arpi’s special spices. We serve the shawarma in a pita wrap‚ atop fluffy wheat pilaf or fresh greens.

The new location serves the famed sandwiches along with exciting new menu infusions. In addition we are happy to announce the introduction of Phoenicia Coffee House under the same roof. Visitors can order gourmet coffees‚ teas‚ signature breakfast wraps and choose from an array of original gelato flavors.

As a special tribute to the operator of Phoenicia Deli since its establishment; this new location is named Arpi’s Phoenicia Deli. It marks her tireless dedication to the business and the countless number of customers and friends she has touched over the past three decades.
